Is it correct that if I don't use an installer on the list of installers provided by Prestige, and something goes wrong with the rangehood, that the warranty may not be honoured?
Hi Helen.
You can use any installer you wish and the warranty will be honoured provided it has been installed corectly according ton the Schweigen installation manual.
Any plumber should be able to install them they are relatively easy to install.

Schweigen 60cm Silent Undermount Rangehood SKU :RWU6-UM1170-6ST I'm about to buy this rangehood [900m3/hr] and want to know what additional items need to be bought for installation in a tiled roof please?
Hi Helen.
All Schweigen rangehoods come with almost everything you need as they are complete with ducting kits.
The only thing you will need is flashing for your tile roof and the installer will bring that with them.
These are one of the easiest rangehoods to install as they provide almost everything.
I have been selling them for more than 11 years and have never had one come back.
Schweigen seems to do what they promise it does they are powerful and silent.
As appliance go it is worth the money, We use it at home and my wife is Chinese, it extracts the fumes and smell even from the heavy cooking we do.
